Irish Folkpunk ...

... mit spanischem Touch und einem Hauch von Psychobilly – so ließe sich die Musik der ursprünglich von ihrem Sänger Carlos del Pino in Madrid gegründeten Band wahrscheinlich am besten beschreiben. Benannt wurde die Band nach Manuela Malasaña, einer spanischen Heldin im Kampf gegen die napoleonische Besatzung. Die Texte ihrer Eigenkompositionen handeln vom Kampf gegen soziale Ungerechtigkeit, Fernweh und langen Pub-Nächten.
